Brand story

Like many Taiwan industrialists in the 1960s, Mr. Rodger Lin, General Manager of ALYA (a self-owned brand under Easywell Water Systems Inc.), shared the Taiwan dream of making his mark on the world stage. Thus, he packed his suitcase and set off on a solo trip to Amsterdam, Netherlands, to take part in the world's largest water purifier exhibition. This overseas trip ended up lasting over 30 years, during which he traveled to 86 countries around the world, across five continents. One could say that, as long as there is a market for drinking water, Mr. Lin would willingly set foot upon the land to explore every possible opportunity.

Since the establishment of Easywell Water System Inc., “ALYA” has been devoted to the water purification industry and has never left the sector. Eight years ago (2010), General Manager Rodger Lin returned wearily to Taoyuan Airport from faraway Iran. While going through customs, he took a large gulp of water from the airport drinking fountain in preparation for the ride home to Changhua. That gulp of water washed away his fatigue from the long-haul flight. As he took a short rest at a corner of the airport, a thought struck him, “I was born and raised in Taiwan, yet I have been devoting myself to foreign customers – what about my fellow countrymen?” It was this act of drinking water that inspired General Manager Lin to manage his own brand.

We established the “ALYA” brand in 2010. This brand not only represents the journey of a Taiwanese industrialist born and raised in Taiwan, but it also represents an earnest wish to give back to Taiwan. We would hereby like to announce our proud return to the hardworking people in Taiwan!
